About
I started taking photos as a way to document trips I was going on, just to be able to look back and see where I was and who I was with. Over time it became more than that. It made me pay closer attention to things I would normally walk past: small moments, light, details that are easy to miss if you're not looking for them. Most of the time I don't go out with a clear plan, I just move around and photograph whatever stands out.
When I'm traveling, I hope my photos make people want to go out and see more of the world for themselves. And when I'm shooting closer to home, I like the idea that it can make people notice what's already around them a bit more.
I don't take photography too seriously. I like keeping it simple and honest. Most of the time I'm just trying to capture a feeling, something calm or familiar. I shoot with Fujifilm and often use film simulations for a softer, more natural look, something closer to how the moment actually felt.
I mostly shoot street and travel, but I like trying different things too, from cars to sports and even a bit of astro. I enjoy keeping it flexible and learning more as I go.
